Data controller / Service provider: HNK Tech
Application: Çiftçi AI (com.ciftciai.app)
Effective date: 14.08.2026 · Version: 1.0
Çiftçi AI is a community where farmers ask each other questions, share experience,
post listings for produce and equipment, and look for workers.
To solve a problem in your field, you often have to rely on an honest answer from
someone you have never met. That trust is the community's most valuable asset.
These Community Guidelines explain what is prohibited, what is allowed,
what happens when a rule is broken, and how you can appeal a decision.
The guidelines apply to every piece of content you create in the app:
community posts and replies, group and one-to-one messages, all listing types
(produce for sale, equipment for rent, wanted, farm labour job posts, job-seeker
posts), profile information (name, photo, description), rating scores and reviews,
and any uploaded photos or files.
By using the app you accept these guidelines. They form an integral part of the
User Agreement.

Çiftçi AI is a farming app. The daily realities of agriculture include subjects
that on another platform might be considered "violent" or "disturbing". The
following is allowed and will not be removed when reported on that ground
alone:
| Allowed | Limit |
| Descriptions and photos of animal slaughter, sacrifice, carcasses and meat processing | Do not glorify cruelty; do not use gratuitously bloody images as a cover photo |
| Animal disease, wounds, difficult births, photos of dead animals (for diagnosis) | Must serve a diagnostic or informational purpose, not shock value |
| Pest control: rodents, wild boar, insects, weed control | Lawful methods only; do not recommend banned poisons, traps or hunting |
| Discussion of pesticides, fertilisers and hormones; comparing brands | Stay within registered products and label doses |
| Harsh but impersonal criticism: "This method is completely wrong, it will ruin the crop." | Do not insult the person |
| Negative but honest experience with a seller, dealer or product | Describe what actually happened; no slander or invention |
| Price haggling, low offers, saying "too expensive" | Do not persistently harass or pressure the seller |
| Criticism of state subsidies, agricultural policy and prices | Must not turn into hate speech or calls to violence |
| Explicit technical descriptions of insemination, breeding and birth | Must not be intended as sexual content |
When in doubt, the test is simple: **is the purpose of the content to inform, or to
hurt, deceive or shock someone?**
Text and images you submit are checked automatically before they go live. The
system scans for profanity, hate speech, personal-data patterns (such as national
identity numbers, IBANs and phone numbers), prohibited-product keywords and spam
patterns.

can appeal (section 8).
Every post, reply, listing, message, profile and review has a "..." (three dots)
menu in its top right corner containing a Report option.
1. Tap the "..." menu.
2. Select Report.
3. Choose a reason (insult, hate speech, sexual content, violence, fraud, spam,
personal data, misleading advice, illegal product, impersonation, underage user,
other).
4. Add a short explanation if you wish, and submit.
Your report is confidential; your identity is not disclosed to the reported
user. Malicious and repeated false reports are themselves a violation.
When you block a user:
Blocking is one-sided and can be undone at any time. Blocking does not replace
reporting: if a rule has been broken, please also file a report.
Content that is reported or flagged by the automated system is reviewed by a human
moderator. The review considers the content itself, its context, the user's history
of violations and, where available, the statement of the affected person.
Reports are reviewed within 24 hours at the latest. Urgent reports — threats to
life, suspected child abuse, large-scale fraud — are prioritised regardless of
queue order.
A decision is made at the end of the review and the reporting user receives a
notification of the outcome. Any user subject to an enforcement action is told
which content was involved, which sanction was applied, and how to appeal.
Sanctions are applied progressively, according to the severity and
repetition of the violation. For serious violations, steps may be skipped and
the account closed immediately.
| Step | Sanction | What it means |
| 1 | Content not published | The content is caught by the automated filter and never goes live |
| 2 | Content removed | A published post, listing, comment or message is deleted |
| 3 | Warning | A record is added to your account and an in-app notification is sent |
| 4 | Temporary suspension | For a set period (e.g. 3, 7 or 30 days) you cannot create content, send messages or post listings; you can still view your own content |
| 5 | Indefinite suspension | Account functions are stopped until the review is completed |
| 6 | Account closure | The account is permanently closed and will not be reopened |
Serious violations that may lead directly to account closure: child abuse
content, genuine and specific threats of violence, planned fraud, verification
using a forged identity or forged documents, repeated sale of illegal products,
systematic exposure of another user's personal data, and opening a new account to
replace a closed one.
Additional measures: if the violation relates to a listing, the listing is
taken down; a "worker" or "trader" verification badge may be revoked; specific
functions such as posting listings, messaging or leaving reviews may be restricted
for a period.
What happens to your data when your account is closed is governed by the rules set
out in the Account Deletion and Privacy Policy documents: only work agreement and
timesheet (puantaj) records are anonymised and retained for 5 years under the
Labour Law.
If you have an active Pro subscription, suspension or closure of your account does
not automatically cancel it. You must cancel the subscription separately from
your App Store or Google Play account settings.
If you disagree with a decision made about you, you can appeal.
Include:
1. The name and phone number registered to your account
2. The date of the decision and the reason you were given
3. Why you believe it was wrong — with screenshots or documents, if any
Your appeal is reviewed by a staff member independent of the person who made
the original decision. You will receive the outcome in writing. If the appeal
succeeds, the content is restored, any suspension is lifted and the violation
record is deleted.
You may also write after the 30-day period, but review of the decision is not
guaranteed in that case.
For requests concerning your personal data (Article 11 of the KVKK) you may also
submit a formal application to our registered electronic mail (KEP) address:

Where content contains a specific and imminent threat to life,
HNK Tech **may notify law enforcement and the competent
authorities.** Such notification is made without the prior consent of the user
concerned; its legal basis is Article 5/2 of the KVKK — processing that is
mandatory "for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right" and
"for the fulfilment of a legal obligation".
Situations in which a notification may be made:
If there is a danger to life, do not wait for the in-app reporting process.
Call 112, the emergency call centre, directly. The app is not an emergency
service and reports are not monitored in real time.
For animal health and notifiable diseases, contact your **Provincial/District
Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry; for forest fires, call 112**.
These guidelines may be updated because of changes in legislation, app store
policies or new needs arising within the community. Significant changes are
announced through an in-app notification, and the effective date and version number
on this page are updated. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept
the current guidelines.
